One color distressing with dark wax
To achieve this finished look;
- paint in different directions to achieve a distressed finish
- create texture by dabbing thick areas of paint onto the furniture
- wait around 20 minutes for the paint to dry, then apply a clear wax all over and buff excess off using a lint free cloth
- Apply dark wax in small areas at a time, using clear wax to help remove the dark wax
- sand in places to reveal different areas of wood and metal fittings
